Avocado, Cucumber & Tomato Salad
Looking for a great summer dish with a difference? Here the summer season started and I thought of making one salad to ease the scorching heat and something which suits the humid weather. We have used this as main course for dinner.

Kappa Vevichathu / Mashed Tapioca /Yuca / Cassava with Spices and Coconut
Today I am sharing
with you Kappa Vevichathu / boiled and mashed Yucca root seasoned with ground
coconut and spice mixture and is usually served with hot Red Meen Curry, a
match made in heaven, isn’t it?
I remember when I was hospitalised in 8th grade with 105
degree fever; my grand mom came to visit me and whispered in my years, “Shall I
bring.."

Semiya Payasam-Vermicelli Kheer-Vermicelli Pudding
This dessert recipe is so familiar and a very
common, popular sweet accompaniment of India with lunch or dinner. Almost all
Indians acknowledge it and all would have tasted it at some point of time.
I love the aroma that you get while roasting the
semiya in ghee. It takes me to nostalgic memories. My mom sometimes add fried coconut
pieces too along with cashews and raisins.
Ingredients:
1. Broken Roasted Vermicelli - 2 cups
2. Ghee – 2 tbsp
3. Skimmed Milk - 4 cups (1 cup = 250 ml)

Chana Dal Masala / Spicy Split Chick Pea Lentil /

been and always will be the comfort food, which provides you load of proteins. It is
a staple food of India. Each parts of India has its own version of cooking each
kind of dal. The recipe calls for all those basic ingredients and probably you
